Our Journey

It all began when I was a very young boy. I had an out-of-body experience when I was 2 or 3 years old. My parents, sister and I were living in Brooklyn, NY and one normal afternoon, my mother put me down for a nap. While sleeping, I remember leaving my body and finding myself floating by the ceiling, along with another young male being in the corner my bedroom, looking down at myself sleeping. Just after this experience, I woke up and found myself back in my physical body. The experience never left me and over the years I always knew it was real but wondered if it could ever be confirmed. About ten years ago, a very gifted psychic-medium, in a shocking moment during a reading, confirmed this experience without any prodding or leading. I had never told anyone about it and it certainly wasn't the only experience I had as a young boy. As a matter of fact, many inexplicable things have happened to me over the years and even intensified as I got older. My experiences have ranged from premonition dreams, to waking up with the certainty that a specific thing would happen, to after-death communications, to the power of thought in manifestation, and to spiritual contact. Some of these experiences have been quite wild and inexplicable but also can't be proven excepting the occasional and rare witness. Some of my after-death communications have involved numbers, moving objects, dreams, and electronic manipulations including answering machine messages! In the mid 2000's, I was seriously considering writing a book about my experiences but cooled to the idea because I didn't think I had enough material to sustain it. However, after the death of my father in 2009, the number of experiences ramped up to such a degree, the reasons for my hesitation were utterly allayed. In 2021, I began to seriously revisit my book idea and to really take stock of all the experiences that had happened over the years. I actually started writing in 2022 with bulk of it completed; the last chapters regarding my father’s death being the most emotional and thereby difficult to face. Marjorie, who is my co-host and the love of my life, has had her own jaw dropping experiences. She recounted one recently on our podcast which was absolutely bone-chilling. Interestingly, people have remarked how 'in tune' we are on the show, with listeners concluding that the show is somehow scripted; which I can assure you is not. Marjorie and I share an amazing Psychic connection that is absolutely bizarre. She will call me when I'm calling her, I will text her when she's texting me. She will be thinking something and I will be writing it almost to the letter. It literally happened just now when I wrote that she's the 'Love Of My Life', as she was on the way out to run an errand when she turned and said 'You're the Love of my Life'. I produce and host another show about animated cartoon creators called 'The Cartoonerific Podcast' where Marjorie has been a guest a few times. She has such an amazing voice and is a most wonderful presence on those episodes. Even though she's not an animator or voice artist, it was noted that Marjorie's appearances have had a consistent listenership, sometimes greater than some of our esteemed guests! Earlier this year, Marjorie volunteered to host 'Cartoonerific News' which is something I tried to incorporate into the regular weekly podcasts but had found that it actually dated each episode. By separating the 'News', it also offered a way of keeping the podcast on listeners' radar. It was an excellent idea that has proved to develop an audience all it's own! Marjorie has done such a terrific job writing as well as hosting the show that it occurred to me - we should really co-host a show about our shared feelings towards that which is commonly considered Paranormal. Actually, we had been talking about it since 2023 but it wasn't until Marjorie started doing the 'News' segments that I thought that we should just 'do it’! We started with one episode and really enjoyed it. This led to recording five more to see if we really wanted to commit to a weekly show. So we did! We not only co-Host the show, but also Co-produce. So, that's how it all started! We look towards the future of 'Back To Paranormal' and have exciting big plans for the show....and beyond! And as always, we thank our loyal fans and listeners for being such a big part of it.
