Why Back To Paranormal?

We started this adventure about five months ago when I was in the middle of writing a book about my Paranormal and weird experiences over the years. Honestly, it wasn’t even on the radar that Marjorie and I would venture into doing a show about the Paranormal. But because we were both fascinated by Paranormal Phenomena, one day on a whim in late 2023, I said to Marjorie that we should do a podcast about the subject and surprisingly, Marjorie was up for it. Five months later we recorded a sample show and it came out so well that we decided to record five more to see if we could sustain it! Fortunately, we really enjoyed making them and so here we are! Marjorie actually penned the name of the show. Instead of the phase 'Back To Normal', she changed it to 'Back To Paranormal', mainly because she felt that the Paranormal is Normal as it's all around us. I liked the name and it stuck! I often say that if you told me 30 years ago that I’d be doing a show about the Paranormal, I would have said you were out of your mind! In the past, I’ve not been comfortable with the subject, but there was still this deep fascination with the subject. Several things over the years changed my mind regarding this. Back when I was going to school for animation and film, a random encounter with an older woman with Psychic gifts sat next to me on a bench in the hallway of the art school I was attending. She proceeded to ‘read’ me and gave me information that not only identified where I lived but told me of my future, which all came true. After she read me, she disappeared into the hallway, never to see her again. The second experience was about 15 years later, when I went off to start a company subcontracting animation work. Things started off ok but then prospects seemed to diminish and I found myself with bills and no income. Things turned very bleak and even though I tried my best to make things work, it seemed like my efforts were in vain. In a moment of desperation, I knelt down and from the bottom of my heart and soul prayed to God for help. What followed, almost immediately (literally within minutes) were people calling me from all over the country to offer me work. Within an hour or two after that prayer, I had a number well-paying projects on deck with more to follow over the next couple of years. That experience always amazed me because it was a real miracle and I’ve never doubted it for an instant. The third incident occurred 14 years ago after the death of my father. It was a series of after-death communications in the form of answering machine messages that were undeniable! Talking about this experience still gives me chills, albeit good ones but still chills. These aren’t the only things I’ve experienced as I’ve had premonition dreams, experienced spirits with manipulated objects, have had things made known to me through telepathy and have witnessed the Power Of Attraction many times and much, much more. Unfortunately, I can’t turn this ability on or off as it It just kind of happens. Although Marjorie and I haven’t seen or experienced UFOs’, Bigfoot or The Loch Ness monster, we are fascinated by all of it. If you’ve listened to the show, We talk about all of these things. We don’t discount anything! As Marjorie has said, ’That’s a possibility!' We are pleased that many people have enjoyed our show. We present every episode with a light-hearted attitude, good humor and lively discussion as we truly belief in the subject matter we’re talking about!
